ABOUT ME

Al Bastin (they/them) is a non-binary performance artist hailing from St. Louis, Missouri. They are currently finishing their BFA in Acting from the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. They love to sing and play guitar and piano. As a trans artist, they love to lend their curious perspective to devised work as well as the classics!

Some of their favorite credits include The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Romeo & Juliet, American Idiot, and The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe, featuring a non-binary #00. Al’s passion for storytelling is fierce in itself, but the positive responses to their representation has made a great impact on their community. They hope to inspire an openness that fuels collaboration and creativity!

When Al isn’t conquering the dramatic world you can find them experimenting in the kitchen, staring a new art project , or cuddling with their dog - Ellie.
